G’day all,

Season 2020 finally gets underway tomorrow for our U10 & U16 teams at home.

U10’s please be at the ground at 8:45am to get ready and warm up. Please be dressed ready to play, jumpers and helmets will be given out as players arrive.

U16’s please be at the ground by 11:15am for a team meeting and warm ups. Please be dressed ready to play.

IMPORTANT COVID regulations:
No access to changerooms, players to arrive ready and depart to shower and change at home after game.
Players to use hand sanitiser before and after game and at breaks.
NO shared water bottles or food.
Ball to be sanitised at each break.
Spectators are welcome but ARE NOT permitted on the oval AT ANY TIME (Only team officials on the team sheet allowed).
Where possible spectators are asked to watch from their car.
All people on-site are to follow mandatory social distancing requirements, keep 1.5m apart and don’t gather in groups larger than 10.
There will be no canteen tomorrow but the committee will review for future games.

These requirements will make a day at the footy feel a little different tomorrow but it’s important we all follow the guidelines or we risk having the season shut down.

We have a number of trained COVID Safety Officers (including myself) so if you have any concerns or queries please ask. The COVID Safety Officer on duty will be wearing a fluro vest so please follow their direction and ask any questions if you are unsure or have concerns.
